OBJECTIF GENERAL


Contribuer à l’amélioration des compétences dans le domaine des soins aigus, en Urgences et en Réanimation des infirmiers à travers le pays, afin de dispenser aux patients une prise en charge de qualité et sécurisée.

OBJECTIFS SPECIFIQUES


A la fin de cette formation, les participants doivent être capable de :


    1) acquérir les connaissances et compétences dans la prise en charge infirmière des pathologies aigues,

    2) posséder des connaissances théoriques et pratiques en matière d'étiologie, d'investigations diagnostiques et de moyens thérapeutiques dans les situations aigues,

    3) acquérir une approche spécifique des techniques de soins, indispensables en réanimation et aux urgences,

    4) apprendre comment appliquer les mesures d'urgence en étant apte à analyser les besoins du patient en situation critique, à décider des priorités, à fixer et à planifier les interventions,

    5) acquérir le comportement et réflexes adaptés aux situations critiques,

    6) apprendre comment assister et accompagner les proches des patients en situation critique dans le processus de deuil et l’acceptation du handicap,

    7) apprendre à gérer le matériel de réanimation et d’urgences,

    8) apprendre à gérer un service d’Urgences et de Réanimation.

THE COURSE AND MODALITIES OF THE TRAINING


Duration : The training lasts 12 months during which theoretical courses will be coupled with practical courses and a clinical internship throughout the year, before a dissertation is defended.

Is admitted to this training :

- a university-level nurse with at least one year's practical experience in a hospital department.

- the recommended university-level nurse from a medical training with an Acute Care Service.

 

Training content and speakers


Attendance at classes is compulsory and the theoretical teachings are aimed at the practice of nursing care through the following themes:

    a) Basic course :
    - Hospital hygiene
    - Communication and teamwork
    - Introduction to scientific research
    - Humanisation of care and reflective practice
    - Bioethics
    - Management of an acute care unit and emergencies

    b) Technical courses :
    - Nursing procedures in acute care and emergencies, according to validated protocols.
    - Care of patients with respiratory function problems.
    - Care of patients with cardiovascular function problems.
    - Care of patients with kidney function problems and fluid and electrolyte disorders.
    - Care for patients with digestive function problems.
    - Care of patients with neurological function problems.
    - Care of patients with polytrauma and in intra- and extra-hospital emergencies.
    - Care of patients with infectious problems.
    - Care for patients with pain problems.
    - Patient care in sedation, anaesthesia, analgesia and post-anaesthesia.

DUSIR will have modules delivered by :

    - Specialist doctors, including anaesthesiologists, emergency doctors, cardiologists...
    - Clinical nurses specialising in acute care and emergencies, Congolese and foreign.
    - ISSI nurse-teachers
